X-rays must be ordered by a Health Service practitioner.
The Radiology Department is staffed by a Registered Technologist
of Radiology (R.T.R.) and provides basic diagnostic X-rays.
Your practitioner will review the X-rays at the time they
are taken and an Evanston Hospital radiologist (M.D.) provides
the final interpretation. Official reports are usually available
in about 48 hours or two working days. There is a charge for
all radiology procedures.
