The NUHS Pharmacy is here to serve your prescription drug and over-the-counter medication needs. A valid Northwestern WildCARD (NU identification card) is necessary to use the Pharmacy. Prescriptions from licensed physicians are filled by our registered pharmacist at a reasonable cost and are frequently below the cost charged at local retail pharmacies. New prescriptions or refill authorizations from providers are not accepted by email but are accepted by mail, phone or fax to 847 467-6869 during the regular business hours as listed above. Please note that faxed prescriptions must be signed by a physician. Refills of valid prescriptions orginally filled at the NUHS Pharmacy may be requested via Web form or calling 847 491-2144.

Purchases may be paid for by cash, check, Visa/MasterCard, WildCARD, American Express, other ATM (debit) cards or billing the charge to your general tuition account. A limited selection of common nonprescription, Over-The-Counter (OTC) items, such as allergy and cold remedies, cough syrups, analgesics, contraceptives, humidifiers, thermometers, heating pads, and bicycle helmets, are also available.
