Laboratory tests must be ordered by a Health Service practitioner.
The Health Service Laboratory is staffed by medical technologists
and performs basic urinalysis, hematology, microbiology, and
chemistry tests on site. Other laboratory tests are sent to
an outside reference laboratory. Many tests done on site are
free of charge to eligible students. There is a charge for
all other laboratory tests. Test results are usually available
24 hours later from your practitioner.
