When should I get my travel immunizations?
Your travel health visit to assess the need for various immunizations
and medications should occur at least eight weeks prior to
your departure. Recommendations for vaccines and/or medications
will vary from person to person according to pre-existing
health conditions, previous travel history, and specific travel
plans. You may access your immunization records from NUHS through the Personal Health Portal.
Are there other resources or information that may be helpful?
You are strongly advised to fully explore all of the resources
concerning travelers health provided by the Centers
for Disease Control and the Travel
Warnings and Consular Information Sheets from the U.S.
State Department. These Web sites provide health information
for international travel and discuss general recommendations
for different geographic areas of the world and a summary
of current disease outbreaks. The following
