Health Education provides a variety of health screenings
for individuals interested in learning more about their behavior
and health risk. Screening areas include: alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.
This service consists of a qualitative interview addressing
family history, environment, behaviors, and a standardized
screening tool when appropriate. Interviews are designed as
an early intervention strategy and are not a substitute for
counseling. When appropriate a referral to a mental health
provider (Counseling and Psychological Services) is provided
for a formal evaluation. To schedule an appointment for a
screening, please call 847 491-2146.
Links to online screenings are also available at "Online
Education and Support."
