The priority health behavior areas addressed by Health Education
include alcohol and other drug use, injury/illness, sexual
behavior, tobacco use, dietary behavior, and physical activity.
Emphasis is placed upon those behaviors related to the leading
causes of morbidity and mortality in young people ages 15-25
years. These focus areas include:
- alcohol and other drug use
- sexual assault and violence
- sexual behavior
