    • It is important to remember that vaccinations do not provide immediate protection; it generally takes 8-10 days for the development of a sufficient immune response to the H1N1 vaccination. Individuals just recently vaccinated against H1N1 influenza who develop symptoms of fever and either cough or sore throat will still need to isolate themselves.
